Melbourne’s 12-piece outlaw orchestra THE COUNTERFEIT rides into NORTHCOTE THEATRE for its biggest Spaghetti Western showdown yet — bringing the iconic soundtracks of 1960s Italian cinema to life on stage.
Across two cinematic sets, the posse will perform music from films such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, Once Upon a Time in the West and Django — plus deep cuts, rarely performed cues and brand-new additions for those that have seen the show before.
Scenes from the original films will blaze across Northcote Theatre’s giant screen in sync with the live music.
