The Bates Motel

The Bates Motel are a guitar‑driven rock/Americana/R&B outfit featuring some of the North East’s most loved players: Bad Bob Bates, Ally Lee, Les Young, Dave Coates and Adam Forster. With decades of performing and recording behind them — including three members who are respected engineers/producers with enviable artist pedigrees — the Motel bring their collective history together in a set drawn from BBB’s back catalogue and new Lee/BBB collaborative writing.

Their next album, Factory Road, is due for release in early October, following an extensive live album recorded in Scotland earlier this year.
