Nimiety 2nd Birthday feat. Honeysmack LIVE
TBA - INNER WEST, , Sydney
lau. 19.09.2026 22:00
Two years of creating temporary spaces for electronic music to be experienced differently.
Since returning with renewed vision, Nimiety has honed a unique convergence of sound, space and people into exhilarating experiences that exist only in the moment. Through a balance of intentional curation, experimentation and individual expression, our journeys have evolved as temporal worlds that reject optics and stay true to rave culture - make only memories, then leave no trace.
This idea of impermanence has become such a defining concept for us. It feels only right that we celebrate with an experience that fully captures this vision. For our second birthday, we welcome a very special guest: Honeysmack (Naarm).
David Haberfeld, aka Honeysmack, is a pioneer of Australia's electronic and techno underground. Emerging from the 1990s, he has remained a defining presence in live electronic music, bringing a distinctly punk ethos to a practice built around improvisation, intensity and experimentation. Working entirely in real time with drum machines, synthesisers and modular equipment, Honeysmack's performances are never pre-programmed. This is NOT a DJ performance. Music is constructed and reshaped in response to the machines, the room and the dancefloor, creating a tension between control and unpredictability. Each performance is inherently unrepeatable. It is an approach that feels true to nights swept away.
Honeysmack will be joined by Synthetic Data, a local duo representing a new generation of live electronic music. They bring their own live hardware-driven approach to techno, alongside DJ sets from Nimiety curators Gazhua and Delirious.
No set times. Expect a journey of quality music all night. Come for the party, stay for the experience.

DELIRIOUSThere are at least two bands with the name Delirious?. One plays trance and another is an English Christian rock and worship band formed in 1993 in Littlehampton (UK). The lineup consists of Martin Smith on vocals and guitar, Stuart Garrard (also known as Stu G) on guitar and backing vocals, Jon Thatcher on bass guitar, Tim Jupp on keys and piano, and Paul Evans on drums and percussion (after previous drummer Stew Smith left the band to pursue his design work in May 2008).
Their 1995 song "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" has been called a "modern worship classic"[1] and is their best known song in the United States.
The Band started with the name "Cutting Edge" before the group made the decision to turn professional and change their name to "Delirious?" in 1996. There are at least 3 artists using this name on lastfm, but only one that uses the "?" at the end.
Stu G was the only member not related to the others by blood or marriage before drummer Stew Smith left the band. Martin, Stew, and Tim are each married to one of Jon's three sisters.
The band regularly leads worship at Christian festivals such as Soul Survivor, as well as playing at mainstream concerts like Glastonbury.
At the beginning of July 2008 the band announced that they would be splitting up to concentrate on their own things, Martin wanted to spend more time with his family and to put more work into his charity CompassionArt. They will continue to play together until the end of 2009.
