DJ EZ, born Otis Roberts, is one of the most influential DJs to emerge from London’s UK garage scene. Hailing from Tottenham, North London, he began DJing as a teenager on pirate radio before establishing himself as a key figure on Kiss FM, where his energetic sets and technically precise mixing helped bring UK garage to a much wider audience.
He became synonymous with the hugely successful Pure Garage compilation series, which helped define the sound of UK garage around the turn of the millennium. His rapid-fire mixing style, seamless transitions and ability to read a crowd have since made him one of the most respected DJs in British dance music.
For more than three decades, DJ EZ has remained a defining figure in UK dance music, helping shape the sound of garage while bringing its energy to audiences around the world.
