CLUB3 X The Flexican

This very special edition of CLUB3 during Haarlem Vinyl Festival is all about vinyl! The one and only The Flexican will be taking over the turntables for a two hour vinyl only session. He will be joined by Dora and Just & Kay.

Born in Mexico City and raised on a diet of Pink Floyd, Guns N' Roses and his uncle's backstage rock gigs, Thomás — aka The Flexican — moved to Amsterdam in 1992, where MTV's hip-hop wave rewired his ears for good. He traded his drum kit for turntables as a teenager, cut his teeth spinning high school parties and weddings, and studied production at SAE. Early mixtapes like Summer Madness caught the ear of eclectic scene veteran Real El Canario, launching his first agency deal and residencies at Dance Tracks and Rhythm Import.

Since then he's built a name as one of Amsterdam's most genre-fluid selectors, holding down residencies at Jimmy Woo, Paradiso and Monza, and behind the boards for Juize.FM, 3voor12XL and Lijn5.com. As producer and MC with hip-hop outfit Flinke Namen, he helped deliver Dutch rap landmarks like Superstuntwerk and the cult favorite Bumayé. Equally at home in hip-hop, funk and house, The Flexican brings a crate-digger's ear and a dancefloor instinct to every set — expect vinyl, expect surprises.
