Gyasi (prononcez “Jassi”) a visiblement pour mission de faire revivre l’esprit flamboyant et multicolore du glam rock des années 70, et ce avec toutes les sonorités qui vont avec. Entre guitares incendiaires, silhouettes extravagantes et énergie scénique débordante, l’artiste américain construit un univers où le rock retrouve son goût du spectacle et de l’excès.Originaire de Virginie-Occidentale et désormais installé à Nashville, l’artiste androgyne nourrit sa musique autant du glam de David Bowie et Marc Bolan que du hard rock, du psyché et du blues. Avec quatre albums et un bon nombre de shows à l’international au compteur, Gyasi affirme autant son talent de songwriter que de guitariste avec une personnalité décidément libre et unique.
