Ramona's Tea Party at Biggar Golf Club

When Norwegian songwriting duo Ramona and Christopher leave their Marshalls and electric guitars at home in favour of two acoustic guitars, a whole new space emerges. In this space, there is room for calmness, closeness, and emotions of all kinds.

This is Ramona’s Tea Party like you’ve rarely heard them before. Ramona and Christopher open up songs from their band’s new album Pour Your Heart Out, along with older tracks from their catalogue and some personal favourites, giving them new life, from poppunk-indierock band to a stripped-down and heartfelt format where the lyrics, melodies, and raw emotion take centre stage.

Their music draws inspiration from artists like boygenius, Big Thief, and Phoebe Bridgers, with room for both the delicate and the grand. At the same time, Green Day, Billy Bragg, and David Bowie are always close by.

With the current Arcadia Music Cafe currently being cleared to make way for the snooker club expansion we will be hosting this gig, alongside 601 Gig Promotions, at Biggar Golf Club. This means we can fit a few more in and there’s also the added benefit of a bar!
